2022 HALLIDAY HILL Pinot Noir

From the cool 2022 vintage, one with conditions that play right into the hands of winemaker Doug Tunnel. This wine shows a soaring savoury character, owing perhaps to the high percentage of whole-cluster. Wild aromas of smoke, Moroccan spice and deep forest tones of pine bough and resin show off the wooded, almost feral elegance of this wine. The palate shows plenty of tannin and structure, wild strawberries, salty cranberries and a savoury minty freshness through the finish.
