2022 halliday hill Pinot Noir

Pale ruby in colour. Gorgeous, brooding dark nose with char and dark cherry. Vanilla and layered fresh mulch. Intense tannin – higher than most and a touch drying – that Doug (owner/winemaker) attributes to the large amount of whole cluster and the tannin released by the stems. Fresh acidity. Very long and earthy. Super-concentrated. Absolutely superb. Spicy clove and nutmeg. Incredible!
