Our Seasonal Pairings

Here on the farm we’re enjoying our current release wines paired with some of our favorite foods! Check out the Brick House team’s current selections for delicious pairings.

Rosé & Farm Berries

“This time of year I'm reveling in the bounty of our local farmer's market. Crisp and cool - much like the Rose - I love a cucumber caprese with whatever fruit catches my eye. Today's iteration features strawberries and peaches. Assemble with mozzarella, basil, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar for a perfect appetizer pairing.”

- Savannah Mills, Associate Winemaker

Chardonnay & Toma Cheese

“What compliments our bright, acidic Chardonnay better than Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese’s Toma? This cheese is creamy and buttery, with a grassy tang finish; perfect alongside our Cascadia or Block Three Chardonnay! Find Toma in your local shop!”

- Julia Dietlin, Direct Sales

Pinot Noir & Fresh Salmon

“I love grilling salmon in the summer to pair with our Les Dijonnais Pinot Noir. My approach is a little unconventional. To start, I like to sear the fish face down on a well-oiled grill. The grill marks-- the char-- really enhance the baking spice and bramble notes of the wine. After a few minutes I turn the salmon to slowly finish it on the skin. Once the thick, inside cut hits 125F, we’re done…Bon Appetit!”

- Doug Tunnell, Owner & Winemaker

& Coming SooN… Gamay Noir

Elevate your Thanksgiving meal with the Brick House 2023 Due East Gamay Noir. Join our wine club for first access to the Gamay, just in time for the fall!

“Aside from a summer charcuterie plate, a classic Thanksgiving dinner or simple roast herb chicken pairs well with our Gamay.”
